The coqui frog was accidentally introduced to Hawai'i from Puerto Rico around 1988. Not only are Coqui frogs a major noise nuisance, but they also pose a threat to all of Hawaii's ecosystem.  Click the button below to learn more about Coqui Frogs in Hawaii and available Coqui Frog Control options at Hualālai.

The Hualālai Community Association supports a Zero-Waste philosophy and encourages ALL of its owners and guests to participate in Weekly Curbside Recycling.  Recycling pickup service in Hualālai is offered by a community service organization called Hana Hou Recycling.

We live and play on a beautiful island and we want to keep it that way.  Hawai’i Island has limited resources and limited space.  Our landfills are reaching capacity and recycling and re-purposing items keep unnecessary waste out of them.  Please help to Malama ’Aina (care for the land) and keep unnecessary waste out of our landfills by recycling.

Hana Hou offers Weekly Curbside Recycling service within Hualālai.  Click the button below to be redirected to Hana Hou Recycling's website to view current recycling service pricing. Mahalo (thank you) for your Pono (doing the right thing).

We appreciate our owners and we enjoy hearing from you!
