

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The HCA Board of Directors is made up of 9 volunteer members. Each Board Member is either - a Residential owner; an agent of a Hotel, a Recreational, or Commercial owner; or an agent of a Developer. Board Members are elected to 2-year terms by the owners at the Annual Owner's Meeting. The Primary Responsibility of the HCA Board is to manage the business affairs of the Community Association, a Hawaii Non-profit Corporation, as outlined in the CC&R's (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) and Bylaws. DEVELOPMENT REVIEW BOARD
The Development Review Board (DRB) is a standing committee made up of 5 volunteer members. DRB members are appointed by the HCA Board of Directors. The primary responsibility of the DRB is to enforce the HCA Design and Construction Guidelines. The DRB is a very active committee with specialized skills including engineering, architecture, landscape design, and property management.

VIEW PLANE COMMITTEE
The View Plane Committee is an advisory committee made up of 3 volunteer members. View Plane Committee members are appointed by the HCA Board of Directors. The primary responsibility of the View Plane Committee is to investigate view corridor complaints and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for corrective action.
